The role Make the agent sound human and answer in under a second. Own the real-time voice pipeline: telephony, speech, the model orchestration and the evals that keep it honest.
What you'll do
Own latency and conversation quality end to end: telephony, STT, LLM orchestration and TTS.
Build the eval and self-improvement loop that trains agents on real conversations.
Listen to hundreds of real calls and turn what you hear into fixes.
Design guardrails and compliance logic for consent, quiet hours and DNC.
Measure pickup rate, conversation length and recovered revenue and move them.
What we're looking for
You have built real-time or streaming systems and cared about every millisecond.
Hands-on with LLM tooling, prompt and eval pipelines.
Python or TypeScript.
You are obsessive about how a conversation actually sounds.
Nice to have
Twilio, Telnyx or Vapi.
Sales or support experience.
