The privacy of your data — and it is your data, not ours! — is a big deal to us. In this policy, we lay out: what data we collect and why; how your data is handled; and your rights to your data. We promise we never sell or share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising: never have, never will.

About Us & Data Controllership

The service is provided by Disrupted Cloud Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

For the purposes of applicable data protection legislation (including the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR), Disrupted Cloud Limited is the Data Controller responsible for your personal data collected via the Platform.

We use Job Boardly (a US company) to provide core technology and data infrastructure services. Job Boardly acts as a Data Processor on our behalf, operating strictly under our instructions and protected by a Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

What we collect and why

Our guiding principle is to collect only what we need. Below, we outline what we collect and our lawful basis for doing so under GDPR and similar laws.

Data Collected Purpose of Collection Lawful Basis (GDPR)
Identity & Access (Name, Email, optional Profile Picture) To create and personalize your account; to communicate essential service updates and invoices. Performance of a Contract (to provide the service you signed up for).
Billing Information (Credit Card, Billing Address) To process payments, calculate taxes (US/EU VAT), send invoices, and detect fraudulent transactions. Performance of a Contract (for paid services) and Legal Obligation (for tax compliance).
Geolocation Data (Full IP Address) Login Logging: To audit access, ensure security, and verify no unauthorized access has occurred. Sign-up Logging: To mitigate spam, abuse, and fraudulent sign-ups. Legitimate Interest (in securing our systems, protecting customer data, and mitigating fraud).
Website Interactions (OS, Browser, Pages Visited, Link Clicks) For statistical analysis (e.g., conversion rates, design testing) and troubleshooting. Legitimate Interest (in optimizing and improving our website performance); Consent (for any non-essential cookies used for advanced tracking/analytics).
Anti-bot Assessments (CAPTCHA data, mouse movements) To mitigate brute force logins, credential stuffing attacks, and spam. Legitimate Interest (in securing our applications and the broader Internet community).
Voluntary Correspondence (Emails, Survey responses) To maintain a service history for future reference and continuous support. Legitimate Interest (in efficiently managing customer support); Consent (for recorded interviews or optional surveys).

Retention Justification for IP Addresses: We retain full IP addresses used to sign up for accounts indefinitely based on our overriding Legitimate Interest in protecting the Platform and the broader community from malicious, spammy, or fraudulent activities carried out by persistent bad actors.

International Data Transfers

aijobxpert.com is powered by Job Boardly, a US company, and all data infrastructure are located in the US. When we transfer personal data originating from the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK) to the United States, we rely on legally compliant mechanisms to ensure an adequate level of data protection. These mechanisms include the use of the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and compliance with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (where applicable).

When we access or share your information

Our default practice is to not access your information. The only times we’ll ever access or share your info are:

  1. To provide products or services you’ve requested: We share the minimum necessary data with our subprocessors (including Job Boardly) to run our applications. No Disrupted Cloud human looks at your data for these purposes unless a rare error requires manual intervention to fix.
  2. For troubleshooting or bug fixes.
  3. To investigate, prevent, or take action regarding restricted uses and where necessary, reporting the incident to the appropriate authorities.
  4. When required under applicable law (see below).

Legal Process and Disclosure

If US law enforcement authorities have the necessary warrant, criminal subpoena, or court order requiring we share data, we have to comply. Otherwise, we flat-out reject requests from local and federal law enforcement when they seek data. And unless we’re legally prevented from it, we’ll always inform you when such requests are made.

In the event a government authority outside the US approaches aijobxpert.com with a request, our default stance is to refuse unless the US government compels us to comply through procedures outlined in a mutual legal assistance treaty or agreement.
