About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of AI Engineering & Agent Platforms to lead the development and operationalization of AI-powered solutions, with a focus on healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and scaling the AI platform, leading the engineering organization in AI infrastructure, agent orchestration, and MLOps capabilities. This role requires a leader who can build and evolve the enterprise agent platform, lead agent engineering, and establish the operational capabilities for prompt and skills lifecycle management. The VP will also be tasked with scaling a forward-deployed AI engineering organization and driving operational excellence to ensure the safe and efficient scaling of AI across products and customer environments.
Candidates for this role must have a minimum of 15 years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in leading large-scale platform, infrastructure, or AI engineering teams. A proven track record in building and operating cloud-native, data-rich products and platforms, as well as experience in deploying AI-powered applications in production, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of distributed systems, modern software architecture, and experience in a highly regulated industry, particularly healthcare. Leadership characteristics should include a passion for innovation, a customer-focused and outcome-oriented approach, and the ability to lead through rapid growth and organizational change. Experience with generative AI, agentic systems, and AI platform development is a plus.
