About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of AI Engineering to lead the design and deployment of agentic AI systems for the automation and optimization of large-scale production environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for building LLM-powered solutions that can diagnose issues, reason over complex systems, and take secure, auditable actions. This role involves the development of RAG pipelines and domain knowledge systems with a focus on strong data quality, feedback loops, and governance. The VP will also be tasked with the productionization of LLMs, including the implementation of evaluation frameworks, prompt orchestration, and self-correction loops, as well as the integration of AI agents with various operational platforms.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or computational field, with a Master's or PhD preferred, and at least 7 years of experience in applied ML, data science, or software engineering within production environments. The role requires strong hands-on development skills in Python (or C++ / Java / Go) and practical expertise with LLMs, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, tool-calling agents, and vector search. Experience in building secure, explainable, and reliable AI systems with a focus on governance and auditability is essential. The ideal candidate will be comfortable collaborating across engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to achieve measurable business outcomes and will have a proven track record in optimizing performance, cost, and latency through various engineering techniques.
