We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our team on a permanent, fully remote basis. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting and a strong understanding of GL, reconciliation, and month-end close processes.
As a Property Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health and success of our clients' properties. Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for a portfolio of properties.
Performing account reconciliations and ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
Executing month-end close processes, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
Assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Collaborating with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in GL, reconciliation, and month-end close processes.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
