What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Optimize, deploy, and maintain innovative machine learning models and software tools for biological analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance based on user feedback
Build robust data loader pipelines for scalable distributed training and evaluation
Develop model evaluation frameworks to help biologists understand model predictions
Create reusable engineering utilities to accelerate research initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications)
Master\'s degree in computer science with a focus on machine learning & data analytics, or equivalent industry experience
At least 6-8 years of experience in developing and applying machine learning methods
Proven expertise in deep learning models on large-scale GPU clusters
Strong knowledge of Python-based ML libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and NumPy
Familiarity with modern frameworks for distributed computing and infrastructure management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in leading end-to-end experimentation pipelines for deep learning models
Ability to effectively balance exploratory research with robust engineering practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
