To support innovative AI solutions, the full-time Staff Applied AI Engineer will partner with business leaders to design and implement secure, production-grade AI applications while mentoring team members and establishing engineering standards, with the flexibility to work remotely or onsite in San Jose, California.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and shape project roadmaps from discovery to delivery Design and deploy secure AI solutions, integrating them with existing systems and ensuring production readiness Set and maintain engineering standards by developing reusable components and mentoring team members
Required qualifications
6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years on AI/ML projects Hands-on experience with modern AI architecture components and securing AI systems Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate needs into actionable plans Strong proficiency in Python and experience deploying AI solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) Experience integrating AI systems with APIs, databases, and monitoring production performance
