Your Impact on our Mission

As a Staff AI Engineer, you will partner with our Co-Founder as well as some of our most senior and tenured engineers on a new initiative and fast growing product - an AI-based voice agent that answers inbound phone calls to hospitals and doctor's offices.
Your day to day is…
Building and maintaining high-quality software that will gradually incorporate AI capabilities
Learning how to work with LLM’s while continuing to deliver solid engineering work
Designing scalable, maintainable applications using modern software practices
Collaborating with Zocdoc’s most talented engineers to learn and gradually take on AI-related projects
Contributing to the end to end development of consumer facing products
Building products designed to scale quickly
Working with cutting edge GenAI tools and technology
You’ll be successful in this role if you have…
5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong proficiency in C#
Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
An ownership mindset and a proven track record of learning new technologies quickly
Enthusiasm and passion for learning AI/ML technologies
Analytical horsepower and a natural curiosity
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills.
