- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field.\n-Experience acting as a consultant/advisor. Ability to operate within the unknown\n-Proven experience operating independently, taking lead on solutioning and hands on development \n-10+ years of software engineering experience.\n-2+ years building AI, GenAI, agentic, or LLM-based solutions.\n-Strong proficiency in Python.\n-Experience building REST APIs and enterprise integrations.\n-Hands-on experience with: MCP connectors, registry, AI agent frameworks, OAuth 2.0 / OIDC authentication, API security best practices, etc. \n-Experience integrating enterprise applications and SaaS platforms.\n-Knowledge of cloud services on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Job Description
Insight Global is sourcing for a Sr. AI Engineer with subject matter expertise in MCP connectors, joining a global consulting firm within the GenAI portfolio. This position will be acting as a true advisor to the firm, solving for a rapidly growing MCP environment with increased connector reliability, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting enterprise wide systems with over 70+ connectors, building working prototypes and solutions. This position is fully remote working primarily EST hours, with opportunity for long-term extensions. \n\nCompensation: $_90_/hr. to $_120_/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. \n\nBenefit packages for this role will start on day one of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
