A
Senior Generative AI Engineer
leads the architectural design and strategic implementation of generative models. They don't just build models; they design the entire ecosystem—from data ingestion and fine-tuning to high-scale deployment and governance. This role requires a balance of deep technical mastery and the ability to mentor junior talent while aligning AI capabilities with business goals.
Key Senior Responsibilities
Architectural Leadership : Designing end-to-end RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and agentic frameworks that can handle complex, multi-step reasoning.
Advanced Model Optimization : Leading initiatives in PEFT (Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning), Quantization (QLoRA/GGUF), and Distillation to reduce latency and infrastructure costs.
Strategy & Roadmap : Collaborating with stakeholders to define the AI roadmap, selecting the right mix of proprietary (OpenAI, Anthropic) and open-source (Llama, Mistral) models.
Governance & Red Teaming : Establishing rigorous evaluation frameworks (LLM-as-a-judge) to measure hallucination rates, bias, and security vulnerabilities.
Production Excellence : Overseeing MLOps and LLMOps pipelines to ensure seamless CI/CD for AI models and real-time monitoring of performance drift.
Senior-Level Requirements
Experience : Typically
5+ years
in Machine Learning, with at least
2+ years
