Leading a cross-functional team, the full-time Senior Director of AI Engineering will oversee the design and deployment of AI-powered products, focusing on responsible AI systems and large-scale production AI infrastructure in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
Partner with engineers, research scientists, and product managers to deliver innovative AI solutions
Manage the development, testing, and support of AI software components, including foundation model training and model evaluation
Drive the technical vision and roadmap for foundational AI systems while attracting and developing top talent in the AI field
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or AI with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 8 years of experience
Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience
Experience in developing or leading AI and ML algorithms or technologies
Strong foundation in engineering and mathematics with expertise in AI optimization
Passion for staying updated on the latest AI research and applying novel techniques in production
