Leading a team of engineers in a full-time remote or New York City-based position, the Senior Director of AI Engineering will drive technical strategies for deploying AI solutions, ensuring high-quality outputs from various AI models and fostering collaboration across product and research teams.
Key responsibilities
Oversee the technical integration of AI models, ensuring quality and performance align with business goals
Collaborate with scientists and engineers to deliver scalable AI solutions for real-time event detection
Define and monitor quality and cost metrics for AI models and their end-to-end performance
Required qualifications
Graduate degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
At least 7 years of industry experience as a software engineer in a cloud-native environment
A minimum of 5 years leading software engineers in an AI-focused team
Experience with deep learning frameworks and large-scale machine learning deployments
Proven track record of delivering complex AI projects successfully
