Senior Director of AI Engineering

Leading a high-impact engineering organization, the full-time remote Senior Director of AI Engineering will drive the vision and delivery of the intelligence layer for AI agents, focusing on semantic architecture, advanced RAG pipelines, and cross-functional collaboration with executive stakeholders. Key responsibilities

Build, scale, and mentor a world-class engineering organization dedicated to AI context and semantic architecture Define and execute the technical roadmap for the AI semantic layer, including vector databases and knowledge graphs Lead the development of enterprise-grade RAG pipelines to ensure accurate and secure AI reasoning

Required qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on distributed systems or AI infrastructure 5+ years of senior engineering leadership experience managing teams of 50+ engineers 3+ years of experience in building AI/ML infrastructure or semantic search engines Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field Deep understanding of bridging structured enterprise data with unstructured AI models
