Senior AI Engineer
Location: San Francisco
Compensation: - Upwards of 500K total comp
We are seeking a VP of AI coming from a Software Engineering background that is actively hands on in building AI applications and internal systems that can build and scale new products in an established organization. This is an IC role and will be a stand-alone engineering position in a startup environment.
This is a new product line for the team and requires a hands-on engineering role with a growth and bigger picture mindset to really get things done!
The role:
Build AI applications and agentic systems
Develop architecture capable of implementing LLM's
Build systems to connect different data sources
The must have requirements:
Strong experience in Software Engineering prior to the move into AI
At least 2 years of experience building production grade AI systems
Strong architecture experience in AWS and distributed systems
Strong experience in RAG, LLM's, and agentic frameworks
AWs Infrastructure experience
