Senior AI/ML Engineer – Vaccine R&D

Pearl River, NY (Hybrid – 2.5 days/week) Relocation Assistance:
Kennedy Bond is partnering with a leading global biopharmaceutical company to recruit a Senior AI/ML Engineer within its Vaccine R&D organization.
This individual will play a key role in developing and implementing an AI-ready scientific data ecosystem, enabling advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI-driven vaccine research. The position combines technical expertise with strategic leadership, offering the opportunity to influence how AI is applied across multidisciplinary research programs.
Lead the development and implementation of AI/ML and scientific data initiatives across Vaccine R&D. Integrate complex biological datasets, including omics, immunological assays, sequencing, and imaging, into scalable AI-ready infrastructure. Develop and implement AI/ML workflows, predictive models, and advanced analytical capabilities. Collaborate with scientific and technical leaders to translate research needs into practical AI solutions. PhD in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or a related field preferred. Strong AI/ML expertise with experience working with complex scientific or biological datasets. Experience with scientific data engineering, integration, architecture, or AI/ML platforms. Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives from strategy through implementation.
