Senior AI Engineer for LLM-Backed Location AI (Hybrid)

Mapbox is seeking an experienced AI systems engineer to own the design and delivery of multi-component AI systems across multiple teams. You will define how products should work, build evaluation systems, and gate changes on regression results to ensure high quality. You will balance shipping incremental improvements with rigorous design, build data pipelines, and track external datasets and benchmarks to decide what to adopt or build. On-call rotations and 24/7 availability may be required.
