Senior AI Engineer

AscentIT is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise AI solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, and machine learning. The role leads implementation of enterprise-grade AI applications and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver them.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable AI/ML solutions for enterprise applications

Build and optimize Generative AI applications using LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures

Develop AI agents and agentic workflows to automate complex business processes

Implement vector search, embeddings, semantic search, and knowledge retrieval solutions

Fine-tune and evaluate LLMs to improve accuracy, relevance, and performance

Build production-ready AI services and integrate them with enterprise systems using APIs and microservices

Optimize AI application performance, latency, scalability, and cost

Implement model evaluation, observability, monitoring, and responsible AI practices

Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers

Collaborate with data scientists, architects, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver AI solutions
