Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer with 10+ years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in Python, Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Azure AI Foundry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable AI-powered applications and enterprise-grade intelligent solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services and modern AI technologies. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement AI-powered applications and enterprise AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry. Build and deploy Generative AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Develop scalable AI services, APIs, and backend components using Python and relevant frameworks. Integrate Azure AI models and services into enterprise applications and existing business workflows. Implement RAG pipelines using document processing, chunking, embeddings, vector search, and semantic retrieval. Develop AI agents and multi-agent workflows using Azure AI Foundry capabilities and appropriate orchestration frameworks. Evaluate and optimize LLM performance, response quality, latency, token usage, and operational costs. Implement responsible AI practices, including content safety, data privacy, security, and output validation. Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices to integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems. Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes for AI applications and services. Collaborate with data engineers, cloud architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions. Monitor deployed AI applications, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve reliability and performance. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring of junior engineers. Required Technical Skills
Azure AI Foundry:
Hands-on experience building, evaluating, and deploying AI applications using Azure AI Foundry and its model, agent, and project capabilities. Python:
Strong programming skills in Python, including application development, API integration, automation, and asynchronous programming where appropriate. Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI:
Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, LLMs, transformer-based models, and Generative AI architectures. Large Language Models (LLMs):
Experience working with models from Azure AI Foundry and implementing prompt engineering, structured outputs, and model evaluation. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG):
Experience building document ingestion, embedding, retrieval, and context-grounding pipelines. AI Agents:
Understanding of tool calling, agent orchestration, multi-step reasoning workflows, and integration with external systems. Azure Cloud:
Experience with relevant Azure services, identity and access management, networking, monitoring, and secure application deployment. APIs and Backend Development:
Experience building RESTful APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask. Vector Search:
Familiarity with Azure AI Search or other vector databases for semantic and hybrid search. Software Engineering:
