Senior Agentic AI Engineer
This is a hands-on development role with a strong coding focus on building, enhancing, and supporting innovative Agentic AI solutions. In this position, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact, review and analyze large-scale software engineering challenges, and contribute to resolving multifaceted situations. You will collaborate with developers and architects in a highly visible, strategic program focused on greenfield Agentic AI development. Key Responsibilities Consult on complex initiatives and large-scale planning for specialty software engineering. Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, or long-term specialty software engineering challenges. Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of function, policies, and compliance requirements. Engage in hands-on development with a primary focus on building, enhancing, and supporting AI agents. Collaborate with team members through daily standups and close interaction with developers and architects. Communicate technical needs and blockers effectively. Required Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. Technical Skills: Python: 5+ years Microservices: 5+ years API Development/Integration: 5+ years MongoDB: 5+ years Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience with Agentic AI. Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI frameworks, and AI orchestration concepts. Experience working with vector databases. Experience with FastAPI, AsyncIO, and multiprocessing. Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and prompt engineering. Experience with Kafka and streaming data pipelines. Work Environment This role offers a hybrid schedule, with an expectation of approximately three days per week onsite.
