This dynamic role as a Principal Engineer will have you serving as the technical authority on AI, Security Operations Data, and security tooling. This critical position aims to define and establish engineering standards to ensure reliable, secure, and observable AI and data capabilities at an enterprise scale. Your efforts will shape the integration of security-relevant tooling, guiding a transformational approach to Cyber Operations that embraces innovation and scalability. Accountabilities
Define reference architecture and technical standards for AI enablement services and ecosystem integrations.
Establish engineering standards for code quality, test-driven development, and secure software engineering practices.
Engineer guardrails for AI-assisted workflows ensuring secure-by-default configurations.
Ensure ingestion and transformation processes are reliable, performant, and defensible.
Define integration contracts for tooling operations and automate their configuration.
Ensure platform services have runbooks and repeatable remediation patterns.
Coach engineers and provide technical oversight on design decisions.
Requirements
7–10 years of relevant experience in new product or technology development.
Undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science; MBA/MIS/MS desired.
Proven ability to lead technical strategy and influence stakeholders.
Strong experience in CI/CD practices and operating production systems.
Experience with security data and analytics engineering.
Familiarity with cloud-native logging and analytics platforms.
Knowledge of automation practices in platform engineering.
