As a Python/Gen AI Engineer, you will be part of the Technology Department supporting innovative AI and software development initiatives. What's the Job?
Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of the new GM GenAI platform and related business use cases.
Create architectural approaches for AI software and hardware integration focusing on quality, performance, resiliency, and reusability.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand and fulfill organizational needs and objectives.
Lead cross-disciplinary teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business priorities and expectations.
Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring high standards and efficiency.
What's Needed?
Expert Python development skills with strong knowledge of Threading, Async Programming, Fast API, and Object-Oriented Design.
Experience with ETL processes involving large data sets and performance optimizations.
Knowledge of Pub/Sub, Message Bus design, and implementations, with Kafka/AMPS preferred.
Experience working in large teams that collaboratively develop on shared multi-repo codebases (VSCode).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with a self-starting attitude and adaptability to shifting priorities.
