We’re looking for a Principal AI Engineer
to help lead the design and development of next-generation AI products and systems. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys taking ideas from early discovery and architecture through development, deployment, and iteration .
The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of AI/ML depth, software engineering, product thinking, and technical leadership . You’ll work across a variety of AI initiatives, partnering closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders while helping mentor and elevate other engineers.
What we’re looking for:
Experience building and deploying AI/ML systems from the ground up
Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, model application, and modern AI architectures
Hands-on Python and software engineering experience
Ability to own architecture and make thoughtful technical tradeoffs
Strong product sense and comfort working directly with customers/stakeholders on ambiguous problems
Experience taking solutions from 0→1 and improving them in production
Technical leadership, mentorship, and a willingness to remain hands-on
Startup, founding engineer, or forward-deployed engineering experience is a plus
