Responsible for subsidiary accounting-related activities and some accounts payable related activities as assigned.

Responsible for reconciling, analyzing, and maintaining financial statement related accounts to ensure accurate general ledger.
Prepares and manages month-end closing process within the company's month-end reporting timeline. Creates and maintains accounting schedules that support accounting journal entries and transaction details.
Prepares journal entries for assigned accounting transactions and records to appropriate general ledger. Ensures compliance with company finance policies and internal controls under J-SOX.
Prepare the consolidated reporting package to the parent company. Assists with the preparation of accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established close schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department.
Prepares and enhances consolidated margin reports, reviews revenue transactions, and analyzes customer and product profitability margins.
Performs monthly analyses of the income statement to provide explanations for fluctuations between actuals vs. forecast.
Analyzes financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the Accounting Supervisor or Controller's attention. Conducts in-depth research and analysis of historical financial data to provide actionable insights to the executive team and stakeholders.
Prepares and post daily cash transactions while ensuring accurate and timely bank reconciliations. Enhanced the bank reconciliation process and developed comprehensive bank reconciliation reports to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborates with the Tax Department to support sales tax, income tax related matters and ad hoc requests and ensure regulatory compliance.
