About the Role
The Presales AI Engineer is a hybrid technical and consultative sales role helping enterprise clients understand, evaluate, and adopt AI-driven solutions. You'll partner with sales leaders, solution architects, and delivery teams to translate business challenges into AI solutions, build demos and proof-of-value (PoV) engagements, and drive technical win strategy across enterprise opportunities.
What You'll Do
Partner with sales teams in client meetings, discovery sessions, and executive briefings
Translate business problems into AI/ML, GenAI, and data platform solutions
Design and deliver custom demos, prototypes, and AI solution walkthroughs
Lead Proof of Value (PoV) initiatives aligned to client use cases
Develop reference architectures using cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), data platforms (Databricks, Fabric, Snowflake), and GenAI frameworks (LLMs, RAG, agents)
Collaborate on RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and solution documents
Define solution architecture, delivery approach, and effort estimates
Enable sales teams with AI solution positioning, demo scripts, and objection handling
Support smooth handoff to delivery teams and stay engaged through early delivery phases
What You Bring
Strong background in AI / Machine Learning / Generative AI
Experience in data engineering or software development
Hands-on experience with Python, APIs, and modern development frameworks
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Familiarity with AI frameworks (LLMs, vector databases, orchestration tools)
Experience in technical presales, solution consulting, or architecture roles
Enterprise client engagement and consultative selling experience
Ability to present complex technical topics to business audiences
Strong communication, storytelling, and executive presence
Understanding of enterprise sales cycles and ROI-driven solution positioning
Preferred Qualifications
College degree required
Experience supporting AI/ML deals or digital transformation initiatives
Exposure to Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or enterprise AI platforms
Prior experience in a system integrator or consulting environment
Knowledge of AI governance, security, and responsible AI
