To build an AI-enabled care delivery platform, the full-time remote Physician AI Engineer will own the development of clinical and safety agents, translating clinical reasoning into shippable products while collaborating with product and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
Own the full arc of clinical and safety agents from scoping to production Establish a clinical evaluation framework to ensure quality and safety of AI agents Improve core components of Counsel AI, benchmarking against physician performance
Required qualifications
MD, DO, or international equivalent, with residency training or 3+ years of clinical experience Hands-on experience building with LLMs in production environments Proven ownership of shipped products in industry or startup settings, preferably in health tech Board-eligible or board-certified status with recent clinical practice experience Published research or public writing on clinical AI or related fields is strongly preferred
