To support the development of enterprise AI solutions, the part-time Applied AI Engineer will design and build AI applications, develop intelligent document pipelines, and improve answer quality using modern AI frameworks in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
Design and build AI applications powered by LLMs, RAG, and semantic search
Develop intelligent pipelines for document ingestion, knowledge extraction, and retrieval
Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to prototype and ship new capabilities
Required qualifications
3+ years of experience building AI, machine learning, or NLP applications
Strong experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar ML frameworks
Strong Python development skills and experience building production software
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
