Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE
3+ years of experience in Springboot.
2+ years of experience in Restful
2 years of Java unit test case development experience.
2 years of experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React JS.
0.5 years of AI-based development experience using tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Devin.
Prior work experience in the home lending industry or related field.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with cloud-native microservices and Agentic AI-based workflows.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture concepts such as Kafka or Pub/Sub.
Experience with Generative AI features, including LLM-enabled workflows like summarization, extraction, and assistant experiences.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts.
Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environment.
Design, code, test, debug, and document features and bug fixes using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and consume RESTful APIs supporting microservices and transaction workflows.
Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional partners in Home Lending Technology to support delivery goals and solution design.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including standups, retros, sprint planning, and code reviews, while incorporating feedback from mentors.
