Job Title: Gen AI Engineer (with Agentic AI Exposure)Location: Tampa, FL / New York, NYEmployment Type: Full-Time Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Gen AI Engineer with experience in Agentic AI systems to design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML solutions. This role focuses on developing intelligent applications using Python and modern AI frameworks such as LangChain, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, with a strong emphasis on LLM-powered, autonomous, and scalable AI systems.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience delivering production-grade AI solutions—including generative AI applications, machine learning models, automation pipelines, and AI-driven integrations—while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Required Skills QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Python for AI/ML and backend development.Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar deep learning frameworks.Experience building LLM-based applications using LangChain and prompt orchestration frameworks.Knowledge of vector databases and embedding technologies such as FAISS, Chroma, Pinecone, or equivalents.Ability to design and implement end-to-end ML pipelines (training, validation, deployment).Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, NLP, and deep learning architectures.Experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud-based deployment environments.Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, and related frameworks.Implement and fine-tune NLP models and architectures for real-world applications.Build and deploy LLM-powered applications using LangChain, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt orchestration techniques.Develop agentic AI workflows, including multi-step reasoning, tool calling, memory, and autonomous task execution.Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and automation tools using Python.Integrate AI models into enterprise applications and workflows.Prepare, transform, and manage large datasets for training and inference.Build feature engineering pipelines, model training workflows, and evaluation pipelines.sDeploy models into production environments using REST APIs, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.Monitor model performance, reliability, and scalability in production.Perform model evaluation, tuning, and performance optimization to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and robustness.Implement feedback loops for continuous improvement of AI systems.Partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven technical solutions.Provide technical guidance and AI expertise throughout the development lifecycle.Stay up to date with emerging AI, generative AI, and agentic frameworks.Prototype and evaluate new tools, techniques, and architectures to drive innovation. Preferred QualificationsExposure to or hands-on experience with Agentic AI systems (autonomous agents, tool usage, memory, multi-agent workflows).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Familiarity with MLOps tools and best practices.Background in scalable, production-grade AI systems.The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $96000 - $115000Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
