GEN AI Engineer - Remote / Telecommute

Job Description:

The GEN AI Engineer will design, develop, and maintain AI-driven applications and scalable API solutions.

This role focuses on integrating Large Language Models, building multi-agent systems, and ensuring secure, high-performance backend services.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in API development, machine learning, distributed systems, and cloud technologies.

Requirement/Must Have:

Proven experience in API development using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

Strong knowledge of Python and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.

Strong understanding of NLP libraries such as spaCy.

Expertise in API authentication including OAuth and API keys.

Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger.

Experience with task queues such as Celery and multi-agent workflows.

Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with caching technologies such as Redis and Memcached.

Experience working with cloud platforms.

Experience:

Demonstrated experience developing and integrating scalable APIs.

Experience integrating Large Language Models into production systems.

Experience building distributed systems and multi-agent architectures.

Experience implementing testing, logging, and monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities:

Identify and define API integration points with clear documentation.

Design, implement, and test API endpoints such as generation and status services.

Auto-generate API documentation using modern frameworks.

Implement xx limiting and authentication mechanisms.

Develop prompting logic for Large Language Models to ensure accurate and reliable responses.

Integrate machine learning frameworks and NLP libraries into applications.

Design and implement multi-agent workflows using patterns such as actor model, publish-subscribe, and client-server.

Build and coordinate multi-agent systems ensuring efficient task delegation, communication, and failure handling.

Develop distributed task management solutions using orchestration tools.

Write unit and integration tests.

Set up logging and monitoring for system health and debugging.

Integrate with relational, NoSQL, and vector databases.

Implement caching strategies to optimize performance.

Ensure secure API access and data protection through proper authentication and validation mechanisms.

Should Have:

Experience with vector databases and AI-powered search platforms.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies.

Familiarity with API design tools and xx limiting frameworks.

Skills:

Strong Python programming skills.

Strong understanding of API architecture and distributed systems.

Knowledge of machine learning and NLP integration.

Experience with database design and optimization.

Understanding of caching strategies and performance tuning.

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment models.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Knowledge of version control systems.

Qualification And Education:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
