Job Summary
We are looking for an outstanding senior engineer with a track record of building AI conversational experiences for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will be the point of contact on a number of critical customer‑facing projects, delivering custom AI solutions that leverage the Connectly AI platform. The engineer will work with PMs and Sales to take requirements, negotiate timelines, and collaborate with the core AI platform team in our San Francisco office. The position is remote, but proximity to our São Paulo office is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Prototype, build, and launch AI experiences for large retailers and enterprises.
Partner with PMs, Sales, and clients to define and refine customer requirements.
Collaborate with engineering teams in San Francisco to leverage the latest capabilities of the AI platform and provide critical feedback for platform improvements.
Establish and implement AI business metrics, analyze data, and iterate to progressively and relentlessly improve business performance.
Plan work, negotiate dates, and offer creative solutions and practical trade‑offs to balance client deadlines and feature completeness.

Hands‑on experience with prompting, defining agent success metrics, and staying current with the latest LLM advancements.
Requirements
Being located in Brazil and speaking Portuguese is a must.
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of technology industry experience in a hands‑on engineering role.
2+ years of experience building and launching AI products.
Experience working in a high‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
Experience building both backend and frontend solutions using Python and TypeScript.
Experience building agentic systems; understanding of recent frameworks is a strong plus.
