Director of AI Engineering

Leading a cross-functional team, the full-time salaried Director of AI Engineering will oversee the design, development, and operation of AI-powered platforms, focusing on large-scale distributed training and fine-tuning while working in a remote-eligible environment. Key responsibilities:

Partner with engineers and product managers to deliver innovative AI products that enhance customer interactions Manage the development and operation of core systems for distributed training, ensuring efficiency and fault tolerance Drive the technical vision and roadmap for foundational AI systems, while fostering a culture of learning and talent development

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with relevant experience in AI and ML technologies At least 3 years of people leadership experience Proven experience in managing large-scale ML or GPU training infrastructure on cloud platforms Hands-on experience with distributed training techniques and proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++ Strong understanding of AI ethics and compliance with regulatory standards
