Leading a high-performing engineering team, the full-time remote Director of AI Engineering will drive the development of AI agents for HR and Finance, ensuring robust integration with the Workday ecosystem while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Key responsibilities:
Build, lead, and mentor a team of exceptional AI agent engineers
Ensure timely project delivery of AI agents that meet exceptional standards
Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Required qualifications:
5+ years of experience in software engineering leadership with a focus on AI/ML and cloud-based systems
5+ years of experience in design and development for mission-critical systems at scale
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Deep understanding of LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and orchestration frameworks
Experience with enterprise-grade AI architectures and API integration
