HIRING WORLDWIDE | Dental AI Engineer | Fully remote
DocsDocs is hiring a Dental AI Engineer to build AI-powered software for dental revenue cycle management. Work from anywhere in the world. We welcome engineers who have built dental software for international clients or supported US dental practices from overseas. Prior hands-on dental software engineering experience is mandatory.
Our product supports insurance eligibility and benefits verification, claims processing, EOB retrieval, payment posting, and denial follow-up. You will turn these workflows into reliable software connected to dental practice management systems.
What you will work on
• Build AI agents and automation for dental insurance and revenue-cycle workflows.
• Integrate with dental practice management software, including Open Dental, and work with patient, insurance, claim, and payment data.
• Develop payer portal, document processing, EOB, and payment reconciliation workflows.
• Improve reliability through testing, monitoring, audit trails, and human review of exceptions.
• Work with product and operations teams to translate dental billing processes into software.
Mandatory experience
• Personally developing, integrating, or maintaining software for dental practices or dental revenue-cycle operations. Dental software experience is required to be considered.
• Ability to explain the dental systems you worked with, the workflows you supported, and your own engineering contribution.
• Practical understanding of dental insurance and practice workflows.
• Hands-on AI engineering and software development experience, including APIs, data processing, and production debugging.
Experience with Open Dental, dental PMS integrations, payer portal automation, EOB processing, or dental insurance verification is particularly relevant.
Apply with your résumé and details of the dental software products or integrations you have worked on, what you personally built, and a relevant AI project. All dental experience screening questions are required.
Location: Fully remote, worldwide. You do not need to be based in the United States. Apply from any country; dental software experience is essential.
