To support procurement automation initiatives, the remote Data Science Gen AI Engineer will perform data profiling, develop machine learning models, and implement NLP-powered solutions while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with standards.
Key responsibilities
Perform data profiling, reconciliation, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency across procurement datasets
Design and optimize scalable data workflows for efficient extraction, transformation, and processing
Build and deploy ML-based supplier scoring models and develop NLP pipelines for analyzing sourcing documents
Required qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field
0-4 years of relevant experience in data analytics, machine learning, or AI-driven solutions, preferably in procurement or supply chain
Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, spaCy, and LangChain
Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI) and implementing generative AI use cases
Solid understanding of NLP techniques including NER, embeddings, and document analytics
