To support the USPTO P-TACTS program, the full-time AWS Certified AI Engineer will design, build, and evaluate AI solutions that convert unstructured legal filings into structured data, primarily using Python on Databricks in a secured federal environment.
Key responsibilities
Build LLM pipelines to extract structured data from unstructured legal documents Validate model outputs against schemas and business rules, ensuring data integrity Advise on future use cases for AI applications, including fine-tuning language models
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of applied ML, data science, or AI engineering experience, with 2+ years in production LLM applications Strong Python skills, including experience with pandas or PySpark Production experience with LLM APIs and validating outputs against schemas AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer - Associate or equivalent cloud ML certification
