To support the Maximus IR&D Team, the full-time Associate AI Engineer will build and optimize production pipelines for extracting insights from unstructured text and scanned documents, utilizing Python for machine learning and Rust for high-performance data processing.
Key responsibilities
Design and implement customer experience and conversational AI solutions, including dialog flows and API integrations
Develop technical integrations with Maximus technologies and create comprehensive documentation for deployed solutions
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide ongoing technical support while researching emerging AI technologies
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, and probability/statistics
High proficiency in Python, including experience with libraries like SciKit-learn and PyTorch
Practical experience with machine learning models, including classification and clustering techniques
Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub), containerization (Docker), and cloud environments (AWS or alternatives)
