Job Description:
Design and evolve enterprise AI platform architecture across cloud, data, and application ecosystems.
Architect scalable solutions utilizing:
AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, model hosting, and orchestration services
Databricks, Mosaic AI, MLflow, and MLOps capabilities
Enterprise LLM platforms such as Claude and OpenAI
Develop architectures for RAG, vector databases, embeddings, multi-agent systems, and model orchestration.
AI Engineering & Platform Operations
Build and operationalize reusable AI services and frameworks.
Implement model access layers, prompt management, agent orchestration, and AI observability solutions.
Establish governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI controls.
Ensure auditability, traceability, and secure access to enterprise data.
Agentic AI & AI-Native Development
Drive adoption of AI-powered software development practices.
Integrate AI coding assistants, code agents, and autonomous workflows into SDLC processes.
Collaborate with engineering teams to embed AI capabilities into CI/CD and DevSecOps environments.
Innovation & Emerging Technology Evaluation
Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, foundation models, and agent frameworks.
Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs.
Translate AI innovations into scalable enterprise solutions.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with cloud, data, security, compliance, and engineering teams.
Develop architecture standards, reference designs, and implementation best practices.
Support enterprise-wide AI adoption through technical leadership and enablement.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, AI/ML Engineering, Data Platforms, or related fields.
5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-based AI platforms, preferably AWS.
Strong expertise with:
AWS Bedrock and/or SageMaker
Databricks, Mosaic AI, and MLflow ecosystems
Enterprise LLM platforms (Claude, OpenAI, or equivalent)
RAG architectures, embeddings, vector databases, graph databases, and agent orchestration
Experience building scalable, secure, and production-grade AI solutions.
Strong understanding of AI governance, observability, and model lifecycle management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Clinical Research environments.
Knowledge of GxP validation processes and regulated systems.
Experience supporting HIPAA-compliant environments.
Familiarity with:
LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks
AI monitoring, evaluation, and observability tools
Multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures
