Artificial Intelligence Engineer
March
Overview
We build and field-test practical autonomy and sensing systems using commercial off-the-shelf parts. You’ll contribute software that powers two live programs: a semi-autonomous ground rover (ArduPilot-based) and a solar-powered water-quality station (Arduino-based) — both designed for fast, repeatable deployments and dual-use relevance. (Rover scope reference.)
We’re hiring an
Entry-Level AI Engineer
to turn research into reliable, production-grade features—especially around
LLMs, retrieval, evaluation, and safety —with a primary focus on
Python
(and some
Java
for service integration).
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software using
Java
and
Python
for robotics, sensing, and data pipelines.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate code with sensors, navigation systems, and telemetry streams.
Write clean, testable code for simulations, QA tools, and field-ready deployments.
Contribute to debugging and troubleshooting during lab and field operations.
Regularly propose new features and solutions to improve autonomy, reliability, and usability.
Stay updated on emerging software tools, frameworks, and defense technology applications.
