As an Applied AI Engineer, you'll play a central role in developing the next generation of AI-native workflows that directly impact strategic decision-making in the biopharma industry.
What Youll Do
Collaborate directly with our CEO and technical leadership on strategic decisions and product development.
Design, build, and optimize LLM-augmented ETL pipelines
Implement, experiment with, and optimize domain-specific information retrieval systems
Leverage our structured biopharma datasets to create highly reliable, production-grade AI agents.
Own projects end-to-end, from conception to deployment, ensuring robustness, scalability, and accuracy.
Interface closely with our customers and internal teams to continuously refine product capabilities based on user feedback.
Ideal Candidate
3+ years of professional experience building production-grade AI-powered backend systems.
Strong proficiency with Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy preferred) and building robust APIs.
Experience designing and deploying AI agents and workflows, particularly those utilizing LLMs and retrieval systems.
Familiarity with relational databases (Postgres preferred) and infrastructure management on AWS.
Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and deeply engage with complex industries (biopharma experience is a significant plus).
Proven record of shipping impactful features, with high attention to reliability and detail.
A builder mentality with side projects or professional experiences showcasing your ability to create innovative solutions.
