Applied AI Engineer

I’m partnering with a fast-growing, $1B+ AI startup that builds autonomous agents for enterprise revenue teams. Their agents research accounts, prioritise pipeline, run outreach and keep CRM data up to date, so sellers can focus on selling. They work with some of the best-known AI companies and enterprise brands, and they’re backed by tier-one VCs.

They’re hiring Applied AI Engineers to build the agent systems at the core of the product.

What you’ll do

Design and ship complex, multi-step agents running in production for enterprise customers

Build the evaluation systems and behavioural benchmarks that tell the team whether agents are actually getting better

Work on the distributed infrastructure behind hundreds of agents running at once

Get close to customers, see where the agents fall short, and fix it fast

What they’re looking for

1–6 years as an applied AI, founding, research or ML engineer

Experience at a high-growth tech company or AI lab

Hands-on agent engineering and distributed systems experience

A top-tier CS/engineering background

Something that makes you stand out: an olympiad medal, a hackathon win, a popular open-source project, or AI research you’ve shipped

Bonus

Quant or trading firm background

The setup In the office 5 days a week in San Francisco. Relocation is supported.
