My client, a fixed income hedge fund, is seeking an AI Engineering Lead to build and lead its enterprise AI engineering function, based in New York.
Embedded at the forefront of the firm’s technology strategy, you will play a key role in defining and delivering its AI vision. Working closely with senior stakeholders across business and technology, you will drive the development of scalable AI platforms, enabling the transition from experimentation to production-grade, enterprise-wide capabilities.
This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on individual operating at both a strategic and technical level. You will take ownership of building and scaling the AI engineering function, designing shared platforms and leading the delivery of advanced AI solutions including predictive analytics, generative AI and intelligent automation, while establishing best practices across AI engineering and MLOps.
The role offers broad exposure across the business, requiring close collaboration with product, data, risk and compliance teams, alongside responsibility for building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience across software, data or AI/ML engineering, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. A proven track record of building and scaling AI platforms in enterprise environments, alongside strong knowledge of modern AI architectures, is essential.
