personal AI private, user-owned, and designed to run directly on peoples devices.
They require an AI
technical leader
(former CTO or senior tech lead of a consumer AI product) who shares our passion for
privacy and user sovereignty .
Youll lead application development across
desktop, mobile, and future platforms , shaping how individuals interact with their own AI.
Responsibilities
Lead application development across desktop, mobile, and future platforms, shaping how individuals interact with their own AI.
Qualifications
Experience deploying AI in real-world consumer products
Strong grasp of modern model architectures, quantization & on-device optimization
Hands-on familiarity with the open-source AI stack (e.g. lightweight inference runtimes, device-level ML frameworks)
Deep knowledge of app ecosystems (especially Apple platforms)
Background in system-level programming & performance tuning
A product-minded, user-first approach
Bonus points
Contributions to open-source or research in AI/ML
Experience with trusted execution, enclaves, or privacy-preserving ML
