Leading a small team of engineers, the full-time remote AI Engineering Lead will drive AI strategy, re-engineer workflows, and build internal systems to enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with executive leaders to identify and prioritize AI use cases that improve operational leverage
Design and implement high-impact internal workflows and multi-agent systems while maintaining hands-on involvement in coding and deployment
Establish governance standards for AI tools and processes, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations
Required qualifications
8+ years of experience in software engineering, applied AI, or technical product roles with hands-on experience in production environments
Proven expertise in designing and deploying multi-agent systems, RAG pipelines, and API integrations in a HIPAA-regulated context
Strong operational judgment with a track record of successful workflow automation and process re-engineering
Experience leading teams and driving adoption of technology within non-technical functions
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and executive stakeholders
