AI Engineering Architect
Cyprus or Remote CTO Office We are looking for an AI Engineering Architect to own the internal AI tooling and infrastructure that accelerates product development - agentic coding, evals, automation of engineering workflows. Key Responsibilities
Build and own the AI tooling stack for engineering: agentic coding workflows, evals, permission rules, AI-assisted code review, testing, and deployment automation Drive and be accountable for the 5x development acceleration target Identify and remove the biggest AI-addressable bottlenecks in the engineering workflow, in partnership with Engineering leadership Make and own model/provider selection decisions for engineering tooling (which LLMs, which infra, build vs buy) Continuously evaluate and roll out new AI-assisted development practices as the tooling landscape evolves Set up evals/benchmarks to measure whether AI tooling is actually improving velocity (not just adopted) Required Experience
Strong hands-on experience building AI/LLM-powered developer tooling in production (agentic coding, RAG, evals) Track record of measurably improving engineering velocity through tooling — not just introducing tools, but proving impact Deep familiarity with modern software delivery (CI/CD, code review practices, testing) to know where AI actually helps vs adds noise Able to make and defend technical infra decisions (model/provider selection, build vs buy) Comfortable working directly with engineering leadership and individual contributors Prior experience as a platform engineer, DevEx lead, or AI/ML infra engineer Experience with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, similar) at scale in an org Background in eval/benchmark design for measuring tool impact Benefits
