AI Engineering Adoption Coach

To enhance AI-assisted software development practices, the remote contract AI Engineering Adoption Coach will assess current workflows, develop an upskilling strategy, and coach engineers to effectively integrate AI tools while maintaining high engineering standards. Key responsibilities

Assess current AI usage, workflows, and skill levels to identify opportunities for improvement Develop a practical AI engineering enablement strategy and establish repeatable practices across project teams Coach developers through hands-on application of AI in real development workflows to demonstrate measurable efficiencies

Required qualifications

Staff Engineer-level software engineering experience with a strong foundation in traditional practices Deep, hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools in production environments Proven ability to maintain high standards in architecture, maintainability, and software quality while using AI Experience in guiding engineering teams through AI adoption and developing practical workflows and standards Strong understanding of the risks and limitations of AI-generated software and effective coaching skills
