Job Title: AI Engineer – .NET
Location: Houston, TX
Position Summary
Design and deliver enterprise AI, ML, and GenAI solutions by combining .NET application development with Databricks-based data engineering. The role focuses on building scalable, production-ready AI systems, modernizing legacy platforms, and enabling AI-driven automation, including AI agents.
Key Responsibilities
Build end-to-end AI solutions (data pipelines, model development, deployment)
Develop scalable pipelines using Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow)
Integrate AI models into .NET applications and enterprise systems
Support real-time and batch AI inference
Contribute to legacy modernization (PowerBuilder to .NET)
Work with Oracle-based systems and enterprise data platforms
Implement CI/CD and deploy solutions on Azure
Ensure governance, security, and responsible AI practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers
Drive adoption of AI agents and intelligent automation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years in AI/ML, data engineering, or software development
Strong .NET experience (C#, ASP.NET Core, APIs)
Hands-on experience with Databricks
Experience with AI/ML model deployment in production
Strong background in .NET platforms and enterprise application development
Experience working with Oracle databases and enterprise data systems
Experience in legacy system modernization (PowerBuilder to .NET preferred)
Exposure to building or integrating AI models and AI agents in enterprise solutions

Understanding of AI agent frameworks (preferred)
