Precognition Labs builds AI agents that work right inside the browser for Trust & Safety, Fraud, Risk & Compliance teams. We focus on high-impact AI where precision, reliability, and responsible deployment matter.
We're hiring AI Engineers at mid and senior levels to design, build, and ship agentic AI systems used by real investigation teams. You'll work directly with our founder and customers, own features end to end, and help shape how we build as we grow.
Mid-level (5–10 years): You own features and pipelines independently from design to production, and you measure and improve how well the AI performs. Senior (10+ years): You've architected production systems and agentic AI, led projects from concept to launch, and raised the technical bar for your team.
5+ years of full-time software engineering experience ~ Shipped at least one production LLM or agent system that real users depend on ~ You can explain how you measured its quality, how it failed, and what you changed ~ Proficiency in Python and modern tooling for testing, CI/CD, and monitoring ~ Background in Trust & Safety, fraud, risk, compliance, or investigations We're a small team, so the people who do best here care about AI and safety, bring expertise that makes everyone around them sharper, and enjoy finding a way forward on hard problems. They move quickly, take ownership without waiting to be asked, and put real energy into the work while keeping a clear sense of what matters most.
Hybrid, Redmond, WA: 3 days a week in office. Relocation support available. We can support visa transfers (such as H-1B), but are unable to sponsor new visas at this time.
Mid-level: base salary of $120K–$180K, plus a 25% annual target performance bonus Senior: base salary of $180K–$240K, plus a 25% annual target performance bonus All levels include 0–2% equity over 4 years, scaled by experience.
