Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Kubernetes and Microservices
Engineer
to design, scale, and manage our core infrastructure. You will lead the deployment, automation, and optimization of our cloud-native platforms. This role focuses heavily on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), complex cloud networking, and high-availability traffic management.
Key Responsibilities
Cluster Management: Design, deploy, monitor, and manage enterprise-grade AKS clusters.
Traffic
Engineering: Analyze and configure complex networking layers and advanced traffic management solutions.
System Optimization: Ensure system reliability, security, compliance, and multi-region scalability.
CI/CD Automation: Build and maintain robust automation pipelines for seamless application deployment.
Architectural Leadership: Define Kubernetes best practices, architectural patterns, and core primitive usage.
Required Qualifications
Kubernetes Expertise: 7+ years of hands-on experience with containerization and production Kubernetes management.
Azure & AKS Focus: 3+ years of specialized experience designing and configuring Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Deep Architectural Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of Kubernetes architecture, objects, and core primitives.
Advanced Networking: Robust analytical skills in traffic management within complex, multi-layered network topologies.
Automation & Ops: Proven track record implementing continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and proactive cluster monitoring.
Advance Traffic Management: Robust Traffic Management analytical skills. Experience with AKS configuration and management within and across complex networking layers
Preferred Skills
CNCF Certifications (CKA, CKAD, or CKS).
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep.
Familiarity with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux).
