TRG is looking for the next generation of technologists and builders to join our technology team as an AI engineer intern. This is a Dallas-based paid internship.
Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming marketing, operations, and creative workflows. TRG is exploring how AI can improve internal systems, accelerate creative work, and unlock new capabilities across the agency. As an AI engineer intern, you will work closely with our chief technology officer and technology team to help prototype tools, test AI workflows, and explore new technologies that bring AI into real agency work.
This internship is highly hands-on. Interns will work on real internal projects, experimenting with new AI models, building integrations, and helping develop tools that may be used across the company.
What You'll Be Doing
Prototyping AI-powered tools and internal applications for agency workflows
Building integrations with LLM APIs and AI services
Assisting with internal AI infrastructure, automation, and tooling
Developing scripts or small services in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
Evaluating emerging AI models, frameworks, and technologies
Supporting prompt engineering and workflow automation
Assisting with experiments involving AI agents, embeddings, and vector databases
Documenting experiments and helping operationalize successful projects
Contributing to internal AI tools that may be used across the agency
What You're Good At
You have a curiosity about how things work and enjoy experimenting with new technology
You like building things, testing ideas quickly, and figuring out how emerging tools can be applied to real-world problems
You're comfortable learning independently and are excited by the fast pace of AI innovation
What You Have in Your Background
Experience programming in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
Familiarity with APIs and modern development workflows
Interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging technologies
Bonus Experience May Include
Working with LLM APIs, MCPs, A2A protocols
Experience with Claude Code, Codex, etc.
Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, Langflow, Ollama, etc.
Experience with open-weights models
Experience with vector databases
Personal projects, experiments, or automation tools
