To support the VA Cybersecurity Operations Systems Engineering project, the full-time remote AI Engineer will design, develop, implement, and maintain AI and machine learning solutions while collaborating with cybersecurity engineers and stakeholders to ensure secure and reliable capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, train, test, and deploy AI and machine learning models for enterprise-scale applications Collect, clean, and prepare data for AI/ML model development and evaluation, ensuring compliance with security and privacy requirements Evaluate and recommend AI technologies and frameworks suitable for complex Federal Government cybersecurity use cases
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT security, data science, or software engineering, with at least 5 years in AI or machine learning systems Expertise in building, training, and deploying machine learning models in a production environment Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and software developers Proficiency in data collection, cleaning, and analysis techniques for AI modeling Demonstrated ability to apply AI solutions to real-world problems in large enterprises or Government agencies
